My colleague, Mrs. Waltraud Lederer, already introduced herself as management assistant, that is, our CEO’s right hand. My name is Lisa Thaha and as a person cannot have two right hands, you could consider myself as our CEO’s left hand as I’m working as Executive Assistant in charge of Sales in order to assist our CEO, Mr. Peter Resch with the steadily increasing customer contacts.
I started with Power-Heat Set GmbH in May 2004 as team assistant and was later promoted to Executive Assistant in charge of Sales to assist our CEO, Mr. Peter Resch.
Before working for Power-Heat-Set I had some jobs in Germany and before that, I had been living abroad for a couple of years.
It was nice, living in foreign countries and these were experiences, I wouldn’t want to miss, but Germany, or should I say BAVARIA, is my homelandand and I like living here (most of the time).

I was asked to tell something about our staff and I decided to start with myself:
I am our manangementassistant and responsible for marketing and trade fairs, human resource management, controlling, statistics and analyses, commission- and travel expense reports and organisations. My hobbies are hiking (I live near the mountains) and playing the guitar.
Last year I have married my partner after 20 years (!) intensive testing phase.
I love dogs. My last dog shared 18 years of my life. It was a lovely dachshund-mongrel.
The most time I am happy with my life!
To be continued…

Today I asked one of our two trainees, Beate Jaschke, about her first impression after one week in our company. I was pleased to hear that her impression was absolutely positive.
In her opinion it was really constructive that she got an overview of our company first. She always felt that she is in good hands because she could ask anything at anytime and all questions were answered partially with pictures for a better understanding. Some of the tasks were almost just as she expected and there were also some new tasks. So far, whatever task, she liked all.
She was really impressed that she was assigend to go alone to the customs for getting the necessary shipping documents for a delivery by herself.
She arrived to the conclusion that it was a very good idea to agree to a training for the period of one month to learn all about our company and the tasks.

We have got applications from two young women. They want to become a staff member of Power-Heat-Set because they have heard that working with us is interested and diversified because of the international duties and responsibilities.
Therefore we have invited them for a monthly training to find out if they will suitable for our team and our customers. On the other side the young ladies can find out if they are able to cope with the tasks.
We all will do our best that they will enjoy their stays in our company. I think this will be exiting and enjoyable days and I am looking forward to the next four weeks.
