For Power-Heat-Set it is most important that our customers are satisfied with us as their partner.
But of course we ask our self what the best feedback is to learn about if a customer is happy with our machine and service?
Many people say it is if you do not hear anything, because that means a customer is not having any problem.
But even much better and reliable as positive feedback is if a customer who is working with Power-Heat-Set equipment is ordering additional machines from us.
Therefore we are very proud about that Saudi Carpet (Abdullatif Group) received their 23rd machine which they ordered during Domotex in Hannover.
The first machine they got was 1990 and it still was a so called 6R machine and the forerunner model of the GVA2500 Mast Version which Saudi Carpet bought also, the first in 1992.
The latest machine is now also the latest state of art with overheated steam heat set machine, the GVA5000 Belt Machine with newest Frise technique.
If you compare the machine from 1990 to the newest one it shows what big improvements we made. Beside many other improvements this is:
Four times of the Capacity, Improved and best Quality even for PA, Wool and all BCF Yarns, the possibility to run all kind of Frise heat set yarns together even with straight set, Energy saving per kg yarn produced of more than 80%, Four times as many number of yarn ends on the winder which is up to 72 ends per machine, etc, etc.
The particular manufacturing methods of Saudi Carpet (Abdullatif Group) are:
Woven carpets are produced on the jacquard weaving machine in the form of Area Rugs or wall-to-wall carpets. The colour combination and design is controlled by computer operated electronic jacquards. There are innumerable possibilities of colour and design. The Area Rugs are produced in various sizes.
Due to its dynamic approach and continuous new product development, AIIC’s weaving plant has become a major producer of woven wall-to-wall carpets and rugs, producing a wide range of products for different markets. Local and International design studios in ASIA and USA are routinely creating imaginative designs in rich colors, satisfying the demands of domestic as well as diverse international market.
- POLYPROPYLENE BCF CARPET
This quality is the highest selling carpet because it is the cheapest.
The pile yarn is made up of PP BCF.
It is easy to clean with home detergent.
Long-lasting.
Compared to Natural fibre carpets, there is no shedding of fibres.
- POLYPROPYLENE HEATSET CARPET
This quality is quite popular.
This carpet gives the right blend of price and quality.
The pile yarn is made up of PP BCF HEATSET yarn.
The heat-setting of the pp yarn makes its twist to last longer.
The appearance retention of the surface of the carpet is longer.
Heat-setting also makes the carpet softer and smoother to feel.
This carpet is produced in higher densities and more weight
- PP runs perfect with Power-Heat-set GVA overheated steam machine and very less steam consumption

- Acryl Carpet
This quality is liked for its natural-like feel.
It is a cheaper option to Wool carpet but higher than PP carpets.
It is also known as artificial wool in the market.
Mostly this quality is made in higher weight and tighter densities.
This quality is quite famous for prayer rugs and runners.
It has a good heat-retention quality and hence gives warmth.
- Acryl runs perfect with Power-Heat-set GVA overheated steam machine and is giving a very nice bulk of the Acryl yarn
- WOOL CARPET
This is a very high quality carpet.
This quality is preferred for the Holy Mosques.
This quality gives a complete natural feel.
This is a Royal carpet quite famous for Palaces.
- Wool runs perfect with Power-Heat-set GVA overheated steam machine as well with the new compact saturated steam machine and is treating the wool yarn very gentle.
- 80/20 WOOL/NYLON CARPET
This is also a very high quality carpet.
The combination of Nylon with Wool makes it a very strong carpet.
This is the most preferred carpet for Hotels, Conference rooms and Banquet Halls.
The life of the carpet is very high provided it is maintained well.
- 80/20 Wool/Nylon runs perfect with Power-Heat-set GVA overheated steam machine as well with the new compact saturated steam machine and is treating the wool yarn very gentle.
- VISCOSE CARPET
This carpet gives a feel of Silk and hence it is also known as Artificial Silk Carpet.
Viscose carpets have a shining, smooth appearance.
This carpet is very light and generally of lower pile height.
Viscose carpets are most preferred as Wall-hangings and decorations.
- SHAGGY CARPET
his is the latest carpet.
It is made from pile yarn of PP FRISE YARN.
It looks like the traditional hand-made shaggy rug and hence the name.
Shaggy carpets have very long noodle-like piles, which gives a cozy feeling.
It can be cleaned easily and is long lasting.
- Shaggy PP yarn runs perfect with Power-Heat-set GVA overheated steam machine and is giving PP yarn a nice volume, soft feeling and if fries a very regular look without any friese nests.
Tufted carpets have a different process of manufacturing compared to weaving. The pile yarn is stitched onto the primary backing and then a secondary backing is stuck onto this cloth by latex.
This is the most preferred carpet in wall-to-wall carpets and generally used widely for carpeting the rooms of the homes and offices.
It can be produced in different qualities depending on the end use application. AIIC produces tufted carpets for residential, light commercial and some light to medium commercial applications.
- POLYESTER TUFTED CARPET:
This carpet is mostly preferred for home applications, particularly bedrooms.
Since this carpet is produced by dyeing, any shade of colour is possible according to the liking of the customer.
Mostly high pile, high quality carpets are produced in Polyester to give a plush, cozy feeling in the bedrooms.
Wide range of design combinations is possible.
This carpet can also be produced in cut-loop designs.
- PES runs perfect with Power-Heat-set GVA overheated steam machine. Especially the overheated steam system is giving a very nice bulk, soft feeling and good coverage to PES. And this of course with still a very nice tip definition.
- NYLON TUFTED CARPET:
Nylon carpets are the most long lasting carpets and hence preferred much.
Its most important characteristic is its ability to retain its appearance even after prolonged use.
It is used most commonly in different printed designs or in dyed shades.
Since designs are printed on it, any kind of designs, corporate logos or images can be produced as Nylon printed carpets.
It is easy to clean and maintain.
It has a fine smooth feeling.
Nylon runs perfect with Power-Heat-set GVA overheated steam machine if you want to have a nice bulk, soft feeling, good coverage, with still a good tip definition and lower dye ability figures which is requested e.g. for bath mats, most rugs, private housing, etc.
- Nylon runs optimised with the new compact saturated steam machine for high shrinkage, very accurate tip definition, very deep dye ability which is requested for some markets like automotive, wall to wall carpet, housing, industrial customers like hotels, airports, etc.

- POLYPROPYLENE TUFTED CARPET:
Polypropylene carpets are the fastest selling carpets because they are cheap.
They are mostly demanded in loop pile construction for cheap residential applications.
They are also produced in cut & loop construction for office applications.
It is easy to clean and maintain PP carpets.
Various constructions have been evolved in PP carpets to give different effects and ambience to the interiors. These include cut & loop, anti-zippering type, multi-roll and full repeat scroll.
Although majority of PP carpets are made from PP BCF, they are also made in Heatset and Frise Cut Piles
- PP runs perfect with Power-Heat-set GVA overheated steam machine and very less steam consumption.
- ACRYLIC TUFTED CARPET:
Acrylic carpets are used as substitute for Woollen carpets.
They give more warmth and comfort than PP carpets but are costlier.
Although they are expensive, they are long lasting.
- Acryl runs perfect with Power-Heat-set GVA overheated steam machine and is giving a very nice bulk of the Acryl yarn
- 80/20 WOOL/NYLON TUFTED CARPET:
They are the most expensive carpet.
They are preferred for Banquet halls, Conference rooms and Hotels.
They are very long lasting.
The appearance retention of these carpets is very good even after many years.
Good bright designs and colors can be produced by printing.
- This yarn runs optimised with the new compact saturated steam machine for high shrinkage, very accurate tip definition, very deep dye ability which is requested for some markets like automotive, wall to wall carpet, industrial customers like hotels, airports, etc.
- GRASS TUFTED CARPET:
This is a fast selling product.
This is also known as Artificial Grass or Turf.
They are most commonly used for outdoor applications and hence AIIC grass carpets are completely UV rays protected so that the colors do not fade in extended sunlight.
They are traditionally coming in Marine backing because of its exposure to water near poolside but we can also supply in normal carpet backing.
